Alameda Civic Ballet strives to create quality, community-accessible ballet performances while educating and engaging the community in the performing arts. Through its outreach programs, the company works to provide opportunities for members of the community to attend its performances for little or no cost.
For its Nutcracker production in December 2009, ACB donated over 100 tickets to local charities, including Walden House, Girls, Inc. of Alameda, and Alameda Food Bank.
ACB also works with the Alameda Unified School District to offer students reduced cost access to ballet performances. Click here for more information.

"Just wanted to let you know how wonderful the performance was today. You did a tremendous job of conceiving the idea. I know it was a thrill for all those children to have a wonderful education in Ballet, music and fine arts. I was really happy that AEF could play a small role in this effort."
